September 8 is a Sunday to savour in Vankleek Hill.
The 2024 Festival of Flavours food festival, presented by Excellent Events, takes place that day.
From 10 am to 4 pm, Main Street, between High Street/Highway 34 and Derby Street will be closed while a variety of food vendors are set up offering their products for sale.
Admission is free, but visitors will have to pay for food purchases, either to enjoy themselves on site, or to take home and enjoy later.
There will also be live entertainment on stage to add some music to the Festival of Flavours in Vankleek Hill.
And, for fans of garlic, Sunday, September 8 will bring something special to Vankleek Hill.
The Vankleek Hill Lions Club is presenting its 4th annual Garlic Farmers Market on September 8.
The location is École élémentaire catholique St-Grégoire, located at 50 Home Avenue.
The Garlic Farmers Market will feature local growers and vendors, samples, and organic garlic.
Admission is by donation. The Vankleek Hill Lions Club will use proceeds from the event to support various local, non-profit organizations.
