The Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Dwight golf tournament, held on August 23, raised $24,000 to benefit both the Hospital Foundation and Special Olympics Ontario. Twenty-seven teams participated.

Organizers thanked volunteers whose dedication was crucial to the tournament’s success, as well as the generous sponsors.

Organizers also highlighted the “remarkable community spirit” that drives the Hospital Foundation’s mission and supports Special Olympics Ontario’s initiatives to empower athletes with intellectual disabilities. Funds raised will support healthcare initiatives and inclusive sports programs within the community.

The Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation is dedicated to supporting Glengarry Memorial Hospital in addressing the needs of a growing patient load. Their mission is to raise funds to enhance healthcare facilities and services for the community.

Special Olympics Ontario is dedicated to improving the lives of Ontarians with intellectual disabilities through sport. The organization provides year-round training and competition opportunities in various sports for athletes of all ages and skill levels.
