A Clarence-Rockland resident is facing a series of drug-related charges.

On July 26, the OPP East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) assisted by members of the Russell County Detachment executed a search warrant in Rockland. Three individuals were arrested at scene and the following items were seized:

  • 17 grams of crack-cocaine
  • A debt list
  • 3 functional digital scales
  • $155 in Canadian Currency
  • Packaging material
  • A cell phone 

As a result, Mario Dubois, from Clarence-Rockland, was charged under the Criminal Code (CC) and the Control Drug and Substance Act (CDSA) with:

  • Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance – Cocaine CDSA
  • Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine CDSA
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000 – in Canada CC

The accused is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal on August 21, 2024. The other arrested parties were released unconditionally.
