Saturday, July 27 is La Baie Run day in L’Orignal.
The 2024 event is the sixth anniversary of the event, which raises funds for the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital (HGH) Foundation.
Participants have the option to complete the run in either a one kilometre, five-kilometre, 10 kilometre, or half marathon.
Races start and finish at L’Orignal Park. Organizers strongly recommend participants get a ride to the park and be dropped off there because parking is very limited. All races follow King Street and Bay Road in and near L’Orignal.
Individual and corporate donations are also being accepted for the HGH Foundation through La Baie Run, even from individuals and organizations not participating in the run itself.

The first race, the half-marathon, begins at L’Orignal Park at 7:30 am on Saturday, July 27. The 10-kilometre race starts at 8 am, the five-kilometre race begins at 8:45 am, and the one-kilometre event starts at 9:45 am.
