A brief thunderstorm failed to dampen the high spirits at the Vankleek Hill Family Food Bank Jamboree last Saturday, July 6, as six musical acts performed to raise funds for the local charity organization.
Headliners John & Biz closed out the night on a day of great music, played to a very appreciative audience from an outdoor stage at the rear of the Windsor Tavern. Preceding them were performances by Foreman & Company, 50 PROOF, Marven James and Matt Zoony, Gord Nixon, and Roger Hamelin.
All funds raised from the event will be donated to the Vankleek Hill & District Food Bank. Last year’s event raised more than $5,000.
