Anyone on Main Street in Vankleek Hill during the incredibly hot afternoon on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, likely wondered what a photo and video crew was doing filming a young couple in front of various attractive buildings. They were gathering material to promote Vankleek Hill and the surrounding area as places to visit in Ontario.
Destination Ontario collaborated with Regional Tourism Organization 9 (RTO 9)/ South Eastern Ontario on the photoshoot. Lesley McDougall of Regional Tourism Organization 9 (RTO 9)/ South Eastern Ontario agency said they were visiting Vankleek Hill and other communities in Prescott-Russell to get photos and video of people enjoying various places and destinations which will be used in an image bank for tourism promotional material.
