The new Musée régional d’Argenteuil Regional Museum is now open to the public at the former Christ Church in Saint-André-d’Argenteuil. Visitors are invited to discover five exhibitions, Wednesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The five exhibitions, led by interpreter guides are:

1. Argenteuil, my life as a river: An exploration of the history of Argenteuil through its rivers, from the Ice Age to the present day.

2. In the footsteps of the Abbott family: A story about the arrival of this pioneer family, founder of Christ Church.

3. A community and its church: A tribute to the Anglican community of St. Andrews.

4. Argenteuil in maps and stories: A discovery of the different exhibitions virtual images prepared by the Argenteuil Regional Museum.

5. A shoemaker and his village: The history and life of the Hubert shoemaker, a family business in Saint-André-d’Argenteuil.

In addition, visitors will also enjoy visiting the cemetery where Dr. Maude Abbott, her family and many pioneer families are interred.
