The big event is a rubber duck race for prizes, but the Festival du canard et de la plume is actually four days of fun in St-Isidore.
The 2024 festival begins on Wednesday, June 5 and wraps up on Sunday, June 9. The event is presented by the Club Optimiste de St-Isidore.
Wednesday’s activity is Zumba Fest at the arena. There is bingo at the community hall on Thursday, June 6, and the Soirée d’humeur comedy night on Friday, June 7 at the community hall.
Saturday, June 8 is the big day of the festival with a vendor’s market, kid’s zone activities, a washer toss tournament and the big rubber duck race at 4:30 pm. All activities take place at and around the arena, community centre, and surrounding park.
A beer garden and food trucks will be at the site on Saturday.
On Saturday evening, there is a Band Night at the ballpark.
A ball hockey tournament will take place on Sunday. Registration is required to participate.
Tickets are required for some of the entertainment events, raffles, and for the duck race.
