One person is suffering potentially serious injuries after an attempted vehicle theft in Hawkesbury.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), On Monday, April 22, 2024, at approximately 2:30 p.m., officers responded to a call for a theft in progress.
Two male suspects were observed attempting to steal a vehicle out of a private parking lot. The vehicle owner and family attempted to intercept the suspects. One person suffered potentially serious injuries as the suspects fled the scene. The victim was transported to hospital and remains in stable condition.
