Grenville-sur-la-Rouge firefighters were busy with two vehicle fires in less than 12 hours. According to Grenville-sur-la-Rouge Fire Chief Marc Montpetit, at 11:45 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, a parked vehicle caught fire in a driveway on Rue Pilon in the Marelan area and burned a balcony off an adjacent house. There were no injuries.

At 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, a car caught fire on Chemin Kilmar at the interchange with Autoroute 50. Montpetit said the person driving the vehicle was not injured. The fire was caused by an electrical problem near the engine, but it was not an electric vehicle.
