Glengarry-Prescott-Russell Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) Stéphane Sarrazin, and Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry MPP Nolan Quinn have a change in responsibilities.

On Thursday, March 28, the office of Premier Doug Ford announced a series of changes for Parliamentary Assistants. They are MPP’s who assist cabinet ministers with legislative and committee responsibilities and other special projects. For example, a Parliamentary Assistant will speak in the legislature on behalf of the minister if the minister is absent.

On March 28, Ford named Sarrazin as Parliamentary Assistant to Associate Minister of Small Business Nina Tangri and Parliamentary Assistant to Minister of Francophone Affairs Caroline Mulroney. Sarrazin previously served as Parliamentary Assistant to Minister of Energy Todd Smith.

Quinn is now Parliamentary Assistant to Minister of Health Sylvia Jones. Previously, Quinn was Parliamentary Assistant to Minister of Children, Community and Social Services Michael Parsa.
