Champlain Township councillors were paid $240,877.20 in 2023; the amount includes remuneration for meetings, committee meetings and convention, mileage and other expenses.

Champlain Township Mayor Normand Riopel was paid $45,775 in his role. He received an additional $3,120 for committee meetings and $692.02 for mileage and other expenses, for a total of $49,587.02

Councillors Paul Emile Duval, Peter Barton, André Roy, Michel Lalonde, Ginette Clément, Paul Burroughs, Gérard Miner and Sarah Bigelow were each paid $23,178 in remuneration as elected councillors. Duval received $780 for committee meetings, André Roy received $1,040 for committee meetings and Ginette Clément received $260, Paul Burroughs received $520 and Gérard Miner received $780.

For convention, mileage and other expenses, Michel Lalonde and Ginette Clément were each paid $133.25, while Gérard Miner was paid $2,219.77.

Members appointed to the Committee of Adjustment and Property Standards Committee were ach paid a flat rate of $780 in 2023. The members were: Marcel Arseneau, Kevin Hall, Murray Allen, Robert Tolhurst and Roch Pilon.
