An Ottawa resident is facing a criminal charge in connection with intimate partner violence in Russell Township.
On March 12, at approximately 8:51p.m., Russell County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to a residence. During the investigation, officers determined that an assault had taken place, and an individual was taken into custody without incident.
As a result, a 37-year-old, from Ottawa, Ontario, was charged under the Criminal Code (CC) with:
- Assault CC266
The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal at a later date.
