A local social enterprise organization has appointed a new executive director.
Eric Drouin became Executive Director of Groupe Convex Prescott-Russell on January 22.
Drouin’s career has been in both the public and private sectors and is renowned for his expertise in change management and procurement. Drouin also has served as President of the Prescott-Russell Community Development Corporation (PRCDC).
The Groupe Convex board of directors expresses sincere thanks to former Executive Director Simon Durand and his role in shaping Groupe Convex’s future.
Based in Hawkesbury, Groupe Convex operates six businesses aimed at social development in the community. These include providing products and services to local clients and reducing barriers to employment for various segments of the population. The businesses are Buanderie Cayen Laundry in Hawkesbury, Emballages Prescott-Russell Packaging in Hawkesbury, Express-Net commercial cleaning and groundskeeping services in Hawkesbury, Recycle-Action recycling services, La Recolte-The Harvesters agricultural and horticultural services in Alfred and Plantagenet, and Menuiserie Casselman Woodshop which manufactures pallets and doors.
