No cement was being made at the Heidelberg Materials Kilmar plant in Grenville-sur-la-Rouge on Monday, February 12, but a film or television production was being made.
Camera, lights, and set crews were set up at the cement plant and many trailers providing accommodation and food services had been set up for actors and crew. The Review inquired with Film Laurentides, the Lachute-based agency that promotes the entire Laurentides region of Québec as a film and television production destination about the production being made at the site. Film Laurentides needed to obtain permission from the producers to disclose information about the production, but no response was received by publication time.
The cement plant is currently not operating but instead serves as a distribution and storage facility for Heidelberg Materials.
