To Champlain Township council:
I am asking you to reconsider and move ahead with the idea of creating a heritage inventory of buildings, properties, farms, barns, and events in our township. I feel it is imperative to have this list compiled primarily for keeping a record of their existence but also it can be a great resource for tourism.
We are just asking for the creation of a list – with which there has been assistance offered from historical societies, so it is not a huge task. Really, it is just about seeking council’s approval for this to take place.
