Students at Pleasant Corners Public School have been very busy the past three weeks thinking of others.

The Student Council members organized a food drive to give back to their community. Students collected pasta, cereal, canned goods and toiletries at school.

Each day student council members went around to classes to collect and tally the number of items brought in by each class. Then they placed them by the tree.

On December 14, the council members were able to sort the food brought in so far to create 43 boxes of food for families. Students had a blast sorting and packing the food to create joy for others.

Pleasant Corners Public School is a school with a caring heart and students are still collecting donations to give to the local food bank until December 22.
