Brownsburg-Chatham residents will soon be able to use the Ecocentre in Lachute.
The two municipalities have reached an agreement to open the Lachute Ecocentre to citizens of Brownsburg-Chatham starting January 5, 2023.
Residents of Saint-André-d’Argenteuil and Saint-Placide are already permitted to use the Lachute facility.
Ecocentre facilities allow residents to safely dispose of household hazardous waste and other materials that do not go in the regular garbage pickup bins. These items include construction waste, branches, and appliances.
The Lachute Ecocentre, located at 507 rue Catherine, is for citizens only. Commercial and agricultural waste is not accepted. Photo ID and proof of residence are required to access the facility.
