Utility poles along Main Street were sporting colourful scarves on Monday morning in Vankleek Hill. The secret scarf bombers were at it for the eighth consecutive year.
A secret group of knitters and crocheters make about two dozen scarves each year and affix them to utility poles under cover of night. Each scarf bears a note inviting anyone who needs a scarf to simply take it. You are also invited to take a scarf and gift it to someone who needs it.
