With Remembrance Day falling mid-week this year, ceremonies in the region will take place on various dates and at various times, depending upon the municipality. Here is a round-up of when you can view Remembrance Day ceremonies in your municipality.
St. Isidore – Friday, November 4, at 11 a.m.
Maxville – Saturday, November 5 at 11 a.m.
Alfred – Saturday, November 5, at 2 p.m.
L’Orignal – Sunday, November 6, at 11 a.m.
Apple Hill – Sunday, November 6 at 12 noon
Vankleek Hill – Sunday, November, 6 at 2 p.m.
Harrington – The Remembrance Day Ceremonies for the Harrington Golden Age Centre are on November 11 starting at 10:30. After the last of the wreaths are laid there will be a light lunch (soup and sandwiches) served.
Alexandria – Friday, November 11 at 11 a.m.
Hawkesbury – Friday, November 11 at 1 p.m.
