On October 15, the Vankleek Hill Farmers’ Market will be welcoming customers to its new location in the gym at l’École élémentaire catholique Saint-Grégoire, 50 Home Avenue.

Vankleek Hill Farmers’ Market, a member of Farmers’ Markets Ontario (FMO) and one of the few year-round farmers’ markets in Ontario, is instrumental in bringing local growers and producers together with the community, ensuring availability of local products and supporting the local supply chain.

“We are excited about our new venue”, says market President Aartje den Boer.

Remaining on “The Hill” allows the market to add to the vibrancy of the community’s core. The market will be in the gym, where there is plenty of room for vendors, and will once again be serving ‘Market Roast’ coffee by the cup. Buskers as always are welcome. The market thanked Pascale Desjardins, directrice at l’École élémentaire catholique Saint-Grégoire, and the Conseil scolaire de district catholique de l’Est ontarien for providing this opportunity.

The Vankleek Hill Farmers’ Market will remain at l’École élémentaire catholique Saint-Grégoire each Saturday until the outdoor season begins again in the spring.
