The Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking everyone to be vigilant in spotting the theft of gasoline.
On July 27, members of the Hawkesbury OPP Detachment visited local gas stations to share tips on preventing gas theft.
The easiest measures for gas stations are pre-payment, which can be done with cash, debit or credit card, or when available, the option of pay at the pump.
Anyone observing a crime, such as gas theft, should immediately notify the Hawkesbury OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222- 8477 (TIPS) or submit your tip online at www.ontariocrimestoppers.ca
Lol. Headline should be “Despite inflated budgets and a new building, police are asking public to do their jobs for them!”
Get real. Do your jobs. Its not our responsibility to do it for you!
