Autoroute 50 collision in Brownsburg-Chatham claims life

One person is dead, and five others injured following a head-on collision on Autoroute 50 Thursday evening in Brownsburg-Chatham.

According to Marythe Bolduc of the Sûreté du Québec, the collision between a van and a car occurred near kilometre marker 250. A 25-year-old woman was killed, and five other people were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Autoroute 50 was closed for several hours due to the collision.
