Tourists and local community members alike will be able to partake in several events at Arbor Gallery over the next two weeks.

On Saturday, July 16, at noon, on the grounds of the historical Higginson building that houses the gallery – Porchfest Chair Martin Lacelle will launch Porchfest 2022 with his opening words, followed by the well-loved local band, 50 PROOF. While Porchfest continues in the afternoon throughout the town, the gallery will host talented visual artist Ronald Headland’s vernissage, welcoming friends, visitors and collectors to his show ‘Memory of Things’.

“Headland’s abstract artwork is not only visually stunning,” explains Sylvie Bouchard, of the gallery, “but also rich in meaning and visual discovery. With a mix of acrylic and collage, it is resolutely contemporary and his reflection transcends it, connecting to the viewer’s experience. Not to be missed.”

‘The History of Things’ runs until July 31 in the main hall of the gallery. Admission is free.
