If you take a drive around the United Counties of Prescott and Russell – particularly with a little digging – you’ll find yourself drawn-in by all of the things to do in the region.

Outdoor activities local to the area give residents and visitors plenty to evaporate any form of boredom. Whether you’re travelling by yourself, as a couple, or even with the little ones, there’s something for all shapes and sizes. Cool off at the pool, go on a nature walk, or educate yourself with a visit to a local museum.

Below are some suggestions of different things you can take part in throughout Prescott-Russell. Pick a spot you like and look it up online to plan your next day trip!

Limoges – Calypso, Oasis RV resort and mini golf, Nokomis Park.

Embrun- Walking trails, Dairy Queen, the Hot Potato Chip Stand, Experience Cafe and Smoothie Bar, Yahoo Park Splash Pad.

Casselman – High Falls Conservation Area, Casselman Bowling, Adventures Ahoy family entertainment indoor centre, Richelieu Park and Splash Pad.

Bourget – Larose Forest walking and biking trails, Parc Bourget, Le partage de Bourget.

Rockland – Parc Simon, Clarence-Rockland Museum. There are 20 public parks located within the City of Clarence-Rockland.

Russell – Russell Centennial Pool, Keith M. Boyd Museum, The New York Central Recreational Trail.

Vars – Parc Alcide Trudeau.

Sarsfield – Yves Chenier Park, Little Ray’s Nature Centre.

Cumberland – Cumberland Heritage Village Museum, Cumberland Millennium Sports Park, Barnett Park (Along the 174, facing the river), Cardinal Creek community park.
