Advance tickets are no longer required for the free Festival multiculturel de Hawkesbury taking place from June 30 to July 3.
Originally, organizers were concerned about crowds and physical distancing around the stages, which will be focused on Place des Pionniers downtown. According to Town of Hawkesbury Director of Recreation and Tourism, and Interim Chief Administrative Officer Samuel Cardarelli, the town was able to change the configuration of the Place des Pionniers space in order to give spectators a better view.
The festival will feature 14 musical acts reflecting various cultures. Cardarelli said the town continues to make plans for the big event.
“It’s going well,” he said.
