MRC d’Argenteuil Sûreté du Québec officers, in collaboration with the contraband investigation service, carried out a search at a residence on route du Long-Sault in Saint-André-d’Argenteuil on May 20. A 69-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman could face charges under the Tobacco Tax Act and for possession of narcotics.
During the search, the police seized more than 14,800 contraband cigarettes, more than 160 grams of cannabis and an amount of cash.
