April is National Poetry Month and the Champlain Library is suggesting weekly activities/mini challenges to help readers celebrate with the library.
The challenges include activities such as creating a sticky note poem, using books and creating spine poetry, blocking out words with a marker and creating “black out poetry” and writing a poem using the word library or bibliothèque in it, to be posted in the library or on social media.
Each time a patron participates in a Poetry Month activity with the Champlain Library, their name will be entered into a draw to win a prize.
Spring is here – a time to feel renewed, refreshed and revived, so put on your creative hats and join the poetry challenge. For more information visit bc-cl.ca, social media platforms or call the library at 613-678-2216.
