Re: Wall of snow –March 9 issue of The Review

Janet Charbonneau is right. The lack of snow removal on Main Street is detrimental to the businesses and to the public at large. The early March snowfall was left as a barricade for close to a week. The Public Works staff may be clocking many hours, but not on Main Street. The curb drainage was not opened and a large pool of water made access to the Post Office challenging. Those citizens with mobility issues found getting about most difficult.

Snow removal must become a priority in the business section of Vankleek Hill.
