A new regional art studio tour has formed in the region. The Route des Arts de Vaudreuil-Soulanges is the fruit of a collaboration between local artists and art lovers.
The annual event is an artist studio tour covering the region of Vaudreuil-Soulanges and will enable visitors to discover the diversity and quality of artforms being practiced on the territory. The tour will be open to all artists across the region.
The first tour will take place on September 24 and 25, 2022, and will feature some 20 artist studios, with artistic practices that include visual arts, performing arts, music, fine crafts and more. It is a wonderful opportunity to discover not only a great diversity of artists, but also the beautiful territory of Vaudreuil-Soulanges.
The objective of the Route des Arts de Vaudreuil-Soulanges is to promote meetings between the public and the artists in their creative space. It is also to give artists the opportunity to share the essence of their passion, inspiration, and techniques from their creative inner core. On the path of the arts tour, visitors will discover the skills, talent, and craftsmanship of artists in the region. Hence, they will travel on the road from inception to the realization of art.
The Route des Arts de Vaudreuil-Soulanges is a not-for-profit organization and the activities are made possible with volunteers dedicated to promoting the talent of artists. The group is working to offer a whole new twist on the traditional art tour, and believes that this will be the first of many years of celebration of the arts in all their forms.
The Route des Arts de Vaudreuil-Soulanges will soon be putting out a call for artists on social media, and in the spring will announce the selected artists for the inaugural tour. Artists and potential partners are invited to contact the group by email at [email protected].
