Couineau said she is a regular lottery player, with her favourite games being Poker Lotto All In and Lotto Max.

“This is my first big win,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings.

A cleaner and mother, Cousineau said she has been playing the lottery for over 10 years. She discovered her win while at the store one morning.

“I was so nervous. This never happens. I called my husband, and he could tell by my voice that something had happened! When I told him I won the lottery he said, ‘Are you sure?’ I was so happy and excited!”

The Chute-à-Blondeau resident said plans to put her money away for now.

“It’s a good time to think about my retirement.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Crevier Express on Main Street in Hawkesbury.
