The Russell Fire Department and Russell Foodland teamed up to raise food and funds for the local food bank on Saturday, December 18.
More than $2,500 was collected in donations. With Sobey’s agreeing to match the total, more than $5,000 in funds were raised for the Embrun Good Neighbours Food Bank. The collection also raised non-perishable food items for the organization.
