Saturday night’s (December 11) bad weather failed to dissuade enthusiasts from attending vocal group Voix-Là‘s Retro Christmas Show at the Saint-Grégoire de Nazianze parish in Vankleek Hill.
The audience enjoyed the repertoire of traditional Christmas songs from the good old days. Parish priest Father Pierre Domerson’s performance of a Christmas song in creole was saluted with a standing ovation. The concert raised more than $800 for the development of various parish services.
Special thanks to seamstress-singer Hélène Desjardins who designs and sews all of the costumes the performers wear during their concert.
