Arrest made, drugs seized in Grenville-sur-la-Rouge

A Grenville-sur-la-Rouge man was recently arrested in connection with a seizure of illegal drugs. 

On November 6, MRC d’Argenteuil Sûreté du Québec officers MRC station stopped a vehicle for a road safety code check on rue Principale in Grenville-sur-la-Rouge. Police discovered narcotics and arrested the driver. Officers seized more than 1,100 methamphetamine pills, more than $ 1,400 in Canadian money, and two cell phones.  

A 40-year-old man from Grenville-sur-la-Rouge was arrested at the scene. He will make a future appearance in court in Saint-Jérôme.
