The Atlantic Pub & Eatery in Alexandria will be hosting the Glengarry Celtic Festival this weekend, with music kicking off on Friday evening August 13, and continuing all afternoon and evening on Saturday.
Friday’s entertainment will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a performance by Noel and Rachel Campbell. Hitting the stage at 7 p.m. will be Highland dancers and piping, while The Hallions will close Friday’s music with a concert beginning at 8 p.m.
On Saturday August 14, The Brigadoons will get the party started from 2-4 p.m., followed by The Campbell Trio at 4 p.m. From 6-7 p.m. Highland dancers will be joined by the SD&G Highlanders for a special performance.
At 7 p.m. Conal Ownzez will hit the stage. The weekend will be capped off by a concert from Hadrian’s Wall, beginning at 8 p.m. on Saturday.
Tickets for the Glengarry Celtic Festival are $15 in advance and $20 at the door for the Friday night concerts, Saturday’s cost is $25 in advance and $30 at the door. A two-day pass for the weekend can be purchased for $35.
