Chemin St-Michel in Brownsburg-Chatham to be closed for most of the day on Tuesday

The Ministère des transports du Québec (MTQ) is informing drivers of the closure of chemin Saint-Michel, near rue Lépine in Brownsburg-Chatham on Tuesday, August 3, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The short-term complete closure of the road is necessary to allow repair work on the nearby bridge, on rue Lépine over Rivière de l’ouest. The project began on July 19 and will continue until August 21.

During the closure, a 38-kilometre detour must be followed using Route 327, chemin de la Rivière Perdue and Route Principale.

The work schedule is subject to change due to operational constraints, on-site progress, or the weather conditions.

Drivers are invited to call Québec 511 for updates.

Information is also available from the MTQ on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
