Nadler case adjourned to August 11

A former Hawkesbury and District General Hospital (HGH) physician will be back in court on August 11.

Dr. Brian Nadler was arrested by the Ontario Provincial Police on March 25 in connection with the death of HGH patient Albert Poidinger. Nadler was subsequently charged with first degree murder. Nadler’s medical licence was suspended soon after his arrest.

After more than three months in custody, Nadler was released on $10,000 bail on July 5. He briefly appeared in court on July 13, but both the defence and prosecution agreed to adjourn the case.

Nadler’s next court appearance is scheduled for August 11 at 9 a.m. at the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal.
