Clarence-Rockland Mayor Guy Desjardins on leave for health reasons

The Mayor of the City of Clarence-Rockland, Guy Desjardins, is currently on leave for unspecified health reasons.

Desjardins’ request for leave was approved by city council at its June 21 meeting. The mayor will be on leave for three months, until September 30.

Deputy Mayor and Ward 7 Councillor Michel Levert, Ward 7 will fulfill Desjardins’ duties during his absence.
