Wondering what books to read this month? The Champlain Library has book recommendations and book bags for readers of all ages in English and French. Recommended reads, new releases and topic book bags are regularly showcased on the library’s Facebook page, Instagram page and website.
Recently available for junior readers are Discovery kits with themes such as The Ocean and Sea Animals, and Space and the Solar System. For the youngest readers, a book bag of Sesame Street series on recycling, reducing and reusing is hot off the press. For Seniors Month, Aging Well book bags are available which include magazines, books, a jigsaw puzzle, a DVD, a music CD, a colouring sheet and an origami craft.
