On January 30, police officers from the Sûreté du Québec, MRC’s Argenteuil post received reports of a possible gathering on chemin Buffalo in Grenville-sur-la-Rouge. Checks were carried out by the police and general offense reports will be produced for five people and forwarded to the Director of Criminal and Penal Prosecutions.

The police also intercepted two vehicles at around 9:30 p.m. on chemin Avoca. Statements of offense for disregarding the curfew were sent to men aged 49 and 56 as well as a 39-year-old woman. The investigation both showed that those intercepted were also present at the gathering which had been reported to the police.

The investigation is continuing, and additional statements of offense may be served.
