During a week of cold weather in the middle of Ontario’s stay-at-home order to contain COVID-19, many snowmen and other unique objects made of snow and ice have been built in local front yards.  On Nelson Street West in Hawkesbury, near the intersection with West Street, this impressively detailed minion character has appeared in recent days.

And while we’re talking about snow, do not forget to enter The Review’s Snow Photo Contest!  Enter your best winter snow photo to win.  The top three winning entries will be published in the February 10 edition of The Review.  To submit your entry, go to www.thereview.ca.

First prize is $150, second prize is $100, and third prize is $50.  All winner’s names will be checked against The Review membership list.  If anyone in a winner’s family is a Review member, his or her prize will be doubled!
