ENJOY A VIRTUAL MAGIC SHOW AS PART OF CHAMPLAIN WINTER CARNIVAL!

Enjoy a virtual show as part of Champlain Carnival

If you are a resident of Champlain Township and are looking for something fun to do with your family you can visit the CHAMPLAIN TOWNSHIP WEBSITE and sign up for a chance to be in a virtual magic show with MAJINX.  The show is part of the Champlain Winter Carnival and takes place on Saturday, February 6 at 6:00 p.m.  This event, hosted by the Champlain Recreation department, is free for all residents of Champlain.  Twenty lucky families selected from the registrants will be able to partake in the actual virtual show which is totally live and interactive. If you are not one of the 20 people selected to take part in the actual zoom show, you will still be able to watch it all unfold on Youtube by clicking on the link provided on both the township’s Facebook page and the website.  Be sure to have a deck of cards on hand so you can take part in the magic!

MAJINX’s VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE SHOW is the latest creation from the renown magic & illusion company, MAJINX.  Lawrence and Cynthia are the local duo who have turned their stage performances into a real-time virtual magical experience.  This lets you to partake in a LIVE performance from the comfort and safety of your own home. Imagine sharing a screen with a magician who can pluck thoughts out of your mind like rabbits out of a hat.  As members of the virtual audience, you will be invited into the Factory Fantastic, a secret facility where magical props are constructed for magicians around the world. Once inside, you will partake in the vast array of strange and magical experiments that will leave you spellbound.

“I am very excited to be able to perform our show in this new format within our community” says Lawrence. “Going virtual means we can have audience members from all over the world!”  So far, Majinx has entertained for companies from Canada, the US and even Germany. They also have had families participate from India, the UK and Sweden.
