Edward James Campbell is the first baby to be born at Hawkesbury and District General Hospital in 2021.
He was born at 6:19 a.m. on Saturday, January 2 at a weight of 6 lbs.
Edward’s parents are Vanessa Rowland and Guillaume Campbell of Gore, Québec. Edward was born two weeks early, otherwise he may not have been the first local baby of the new year. He is the first child for his parents.
Rowland said everyone is doing well but still recuperating after Edward’s arrival.
