On December 11 and 12, the Town of Hawkesbury invites everyone in the United Counties of Prescott and Russell to experience the free drive-through Christmas Immersion event it has planned for the weekend ahead.

Four cars at a time can discover, or rediscover, this fantastic digital immersion, as a Christmas season memory for the whole family.

The town decided to organize the Christmas Immersion to replace the Santa Claus Parade which has been cancelled this year due to the pandemic.  Visitors can safely enjoy the Christmas Immersion from their vehicles.  All COVID-19 sanitary measures will be respected, no gatherings will be allowed on site.

The Christmas Immersion takes place on Friday, December 11 from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Saturday, December 12 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the parking lot next to the former OPP detachment at the corner of Cartier Boulevard and Higginson Street in Hawkesbury.

Visits are first come, first served. Visitors should allow 15 minutes for the activity.
