Trillium Meadows offering online shopping for unique charcuterie box this holiday season

Trillium Meadows Red Deer & Wild Boar Farm has been farming red deer and wild boars for more than two decades. Their animals are raised in a natural setting with trees, gullies and hills which provide protection from the elements.

They take pride in the fact that their livestock is slow-grown, which means their growth is not accelerated by feeding commercial rations. No animal byproducts nor hormones are added to their feed.

This guarantees a mild-flavoured and tender meat, which is easily prepared even by a novice chef.

Trillium Meadows’ Christmas promotion this year is a delicious charcuterie box. It contains deer pepperettes, wild boar pepperettes, wild boar kolbasa, deer country sausage (salami), a variety of deer jerky and wild boar or red deer pâté – all at a special price is $60.00. This is a unique, gourmet gift for the person on your list that has everything or to delight your own taste buds over the holidays.

To take advantage of this great offer, you need to pre-order the boxes by Sunday, December 13th. You can do this by sending an email to: [email protected] or calling (613) 678-1679. The boxes are going to be ready for pick-up on Saturday, Dec 19th at the Vankleek Hill Farmers’ Market (79 Derby Ave from 10 am to 1 pm) and the Ottawa Farmers’ Market at Lansdowne (9 am to 3 pm). Also on Sunday, Dec 20th at the Ottawa Farmers’ Market. On December 21st at the farm, by appointment only.

For all other wild boar and red deer products you can visit Trillium Meadows at the Vankleek Hill Farmers’ Market or Ottawa Farmers’ Market or conveniently order from the online store by visiting this new website: www.trilliummeadows.ca
