Highway 17 was closed between Alfred and Plantagenet for several hours on Saturday, December 5 due to a serious collision between a car and a truck. According to the OPP, one person was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, and another person was taken to hospital with less serious injuries.
Traffic followed a detour while police officers investigated the collision.
