Russell County OPP have now laid a charge in connection with a fatal collision earlier this fall.
On November 8, 2020, at approximately 2:15 p.m., Russell County OPP officers responded to a two vehicle collision on Lafleche Sideroad in The Nation municipality. A 73-year-old male died as a result of his injuries.
As a result of the investigation, a 78 year-old woman from Gatineau, Québec was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with Careless driving causing death.
