The Québec government is providing $2,662,247 to seven municipalities in the MRC d’Argenteuil for local road maintenance.  Argenteuil member of the legislature Agnès Grondin, made the announcement on December 2 on behalf of transportation minister François Bonnardel.

Funding for the local roads program across Québec was increased by $310 million in 2020. From that amount, $ 100 million is being used to support municipalities with needs related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The investment that I am announcing today will benefit the citizens of Argenteuil district, because it will allow essential work to be carried out on the road network local. These projects are an integral part of the quality of life in our communities, they will contribute to the economic recovery and will make it possible to travel our territory more safely,” said Grondin.
