On December 14, the Limoges COVID-19 testing centre, located at the Calypso water park parking area will move its operations back to the Eastern Ontario Health Unit (EOHU) office in Casselman. The Limoges site will cease offering tests on Friday, December 11 at 12 p.m.
The testing centre had originally been located in Casselman but was moved to Calypso park because of the high number of clients who were visiting the centre and resulting traffic problems.
The moving of the testing centre will allow for the use of a designated space at an indoor facility that will reduce challenges caused by winter weather.
The Casselman COVID-19 Testing Centre will be accepting clients by appointment only, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. More information on COVID-19 testing and assessment centres in the EOHU region can be found at www.EOHU.ca.
The EOHU, in collaboration with local hospitals and medical clinics, also provides COVID-19 testing and assessment centres in Hawkesbury, Alexandria, Rockland, Cornwall, and Winchester.
