Plantagenet Bean Festival cancelled; La Binerie currently offering delivery of baked beans, prepared foods

Due to the growing concern and uncertain situation surrounding the Covid-19 virus, organizers say they regret to announce that the 2020 edition of the Festival de la bine de Plantagenet and the strong man competition Fortissimus will not take place this year. On the eve of its 10th anniversary, the Festival team did not take this decision lightly.

We invest a lot of effort and energy for more than a year to organize the Festival. The support of sponsors is also essential to the survival of the event, but the solicitation of sponsorships is simply not possible at this time.” Alain Lapensée, President of the Festival de la bine.
